SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Launch Logistics, LLC – a subsidiary of Unishippers Global Logistics, LLC – was named to the 35th annual Inc. 500|5000 list at no. 2450, with 146 percent growth when comparing 2012 to 2015. Published by Inc. magazine, the list is an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small businesses. Inc. magazine’s Top 5000 list profiles businesses that have proven their strategies to be successful, thereby leading to increased growth, revenue and reputation, as well as businesses that have become trendsetters in their respective industries. Only the very best private, employee-based firms are awarded the distinction of being recognized within the Inc. 500|5000, the gold standard of entrepreneurial success.

“I’m extremely proud of what our team has accomplished in such a short amount of time,” said Joe Curtis President of Launch Logistics. “Launch Logistics has exceeded our expectations and has truly demonstrated that our core functions are essential to the overall growth of the Unishippers franchise system. Over the next year, we will continue to put the focus on refining our customer care process and accelerating our hiring efforts to prepare for the next phase of our development.”

In only four years, Launch Logistics has reached $43.6 million in annual sales revenue and tripled its workforce at its Salt Lake City office. By year’s end, the company hopes to fill an additional 40 full and part-time sales, operations and customer service positions. Since its establishment, Launch Logistics’ primary focus has been on customer satisfaction, sales efficiency, customer retention and testing out new operational techniques and technology that can then be passed on to the greater Unishippers franchise system.
