SPARTANBURG, SC, February 1, 2022 – Agape Care Group (Agape Care), a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners and a leading hospice and palliative care provider in the Southeast region, announced today it has acquired Lanier Hospice based in Buford, Georgia. This acquisition expands Agape Care’s presence in Georgia to 98 counties, covering 65% of the state. Regionally, the company provides care in all 46 counties in South Carolina and has a total of 1,090 employees caring for 2,100 patients in both South Carolina and Georgia.

Lanier Hospice of Georgia will continue to operate under its current name and brand in the near term. Terms of the deal are not disclosed.
