Kansas City, MO (1/23/2025) – eShipping, a tech-enabled provider of managed transportation and logistics services, today announced the acquisition of Virginia-based Integrated Logistics 2000 LLC (IL2000).
Founded by Kraig Cesar in 1999, IL2000 provides managed transportation services to customers throughout North America. IL2000 leverages its proprietary transportation management system to support small and medium sized shippers across all modes including less than truckload, full truckload, international, and parcel.
The acquisition of IL2000 expands eShipping’s operational footprint to six regional office locations, 11 warehousing and distribution centers, and over 500 eShipping employees nationwide.
“We are thrilled to welcome the IL2000 team to the eShipping family,” said Chad Earwood, Founder and CEO of eShipping. “This is a growth opportunity for both companies, and we feel fortunate to work collectively with a team of people who share similar goals and a vision for the future. We will continue to focus on being a powerful catalyst in the marketplace by providing a high-service customer experience through our people and comprehensive logistics solutions that span transportation, warehousing, distribution, and technology.”
“This acquisition marks a pivotal moment in our journey, showcasing our strategic growth and the extraordinary dedication of our entire team, whose hard work has made this achievement possible,” noted Ken Nadler, President of IL2000. “Joining forces with the eShipping team unlocks new opportunities to deliver even greater value to our clients, enhancing the services and solutions we provide. At the same time, this partnership creates exciting prospects for our employees, offering expanded resources, professional growth, and innovation-driven collaboration.”
eShipping has successfully completed and integrated multiple acquisitions since its 2021 recapitalization, led by Ridgemont Equity Partners and management. The company continues to pursue opportunities to partner with third-party logistics providers that share the same commitment to team culture and data-driven solutions that support shipper customers’ most demanding supply chain needs.
